Scoot: I am talking 60's price (around $5000 for a loaded Z-28).
I couldn't afford one then or now. Same goes for the Z-06. Unless you want to give me an early Christmas present

You know my feelings about smallblocks. Only TWO that I have any respect for. The 327 and the 302. And horsepower ratings back in the 60s were either lower or HIGHER than what they were advertised at. Street driving hot rods holds no attraction for me. All my performance driving is done at the strip.

I been on my bikes mainly. Also been somewhat "up and down" healthwise with diabetes and high blood pressure. I take more pills than a drug store sells.

My wife is the friendly neighborhood pharmacist so I live with "pill-talk" all the time.....

As far as street vs strip, everyone has their own thing. Of course, a big BB is the thing to have down the 1320. My buddy has a 64 Chrysler Newport wagon (custom 2 door) with a 500 cube Wedge motor and an 871 blower on top. 5000lbs and it runs low 11s. My car enjoys the road course, where front end weight is bad and balance / smoothness is good.

Of course, it doesn't have any cupholders. Ferry Porsche said it best: "Why would my car have cupholders? You don't have a steering wheel on your coffee table!"

Quit living in the past.

BTW only 9 votes separate the decison now. If the forum owner sees benefits to the split it should be done.

9 votes out of over 200 is not significant and the right thing needs to be done.

cup holder guys and guys will have their own section.
It's 10 now! Just go hang out in the C3 cars for sale for a few days then in the C3 parts for sale section and you'll get that 'the forum is split feeling'.
