Your big block vs. small block crowd comment is completely out of line. What you are saying is that small block owners with 75 up cars are guys that could just afford the later model vette because they are cheaper and that's the reason for many OT posts and other rubbish. Saying that just the big block stuff is interesting is bull**** also. There's nothing interesting about a run off the mill 427 or 454. What a stupid comment...geez

I guess if ya don't own a big block ya can't hang with the big boys eh?

Gentleman...we have a BINGO!!!!

Nahh...just kiddin TT. And don't get so dang testy. Without the smallblocks the big block cars wouldn't have anything to poke fun of

However, LOOK at the number of idiot posts and you will find the VAST MAJORITY are small block owners. I am not talking about OT posts. I am talking about C3-related posts. When was the last time you saw a HEALTHY discussion about big block stuff??? I'll tell you when...a LONG time ago when big block owners were as frequent here as small block owners. Take off your blinders and LOOK at the engines everyone is
playing with now. See any monster rat motors there??? Dang few IF ANY. With the massive increase of these budget-buying '75 and up Vette owners, the big block guys have disappeared from the forum.
And THOSE were the guys that had a LOT of info about ALL aspects of the Vette.

"There's nothing interesting about a run off the mill 427 or 454."

ROFL!!!!

Newsflash TT...there ARE NO "run of the mill" 427/454s. Only run of the mill Caprice-engined mouse motors.

Hi Scoot....I "been here done that" a few times before. If I had a nickle for every time we came up with this topic I could buy a NEW rat motor

Why not start one then? Sure there are plenty of guys who would join in. If not, seeing how you are a master(de)bater it could be a one man show!

Sure the 427 and 454 are run off the mill, or did they get built by other people than the assembly workings that built the other engines? It's not like they are indicidually crafted with attention to every detail. Don't glorify them as being more than they really are. I'm not testy but putting small block owners down like that is totally uncalled for and unfair. Maybe there's not that many radicakl buildups because big block owners have blidners on and think they have reached the pinnacle of performance when they drive nothing but an old gas guzzling big block.

Hey Fevre...how many posts like this did it take to get you all those pretty stars? :p:

The guys that would join in are gone....get it??? They DON'T come to the C3 forum any more because the posts about big blocks vanish under a steady stream of "why is my mouse motor so slow"...just like BlackRat said.

Those topics belong here, don't care if it's small block big block, the stuff that doesn't belong here is what bothers me.

Somehow I can't picture the L-88 or the ZL-1 being built by fat ***** and his pals in Dee-troit City. Do a count of total number of big block Vettes built during the C3 years as compared to the mouse motors and then come back with that run of the mill BS.

There aren't many big block buildups posted because big block owners can't be bothered wasting their time posting to a forum that caters mainly to crate motor mouse motors. Trust me...the rat motor is alive and well and being installed in MANY performance cars in this country.

Again...count total number of big blocks compard to small blocks in the C3 Vette. Then tell me what motor is "run of the mill".

I was kidding with the spellchecker thing. My posts have to be edited multiple times before they can be decipherd
You just seemed to be losing your normally accurate typing skills as you got more excited about the subject.

Still mass produced, you are looking for excuses

I know you were kidding w/ the spellchecker and I don't care if my posts are full of typos because i know my posts contain a wealth of information and if it takes a little deciphering so be it

You just caught my posts before I got a chance to edit them about 6 times to remove all the typos. Fat fingers, slow brain and a small keyboard don't mix.

Careful boys....wouldn't want to see your 100% rating sink by making all those NASTY comments. Wait...I hear a rumble outside!!! I think it's a performance engine! Ach!..never mind. It's just an old 350 Caprice taxi cab picking up my neighbor. LOL... then again, on this forum that IS a performance engine!!!!

OK, I've sat back long enough. I agree that stuff is rolling off the screen too fast. On the other hand, some of this stuff is pretty hilarious. Keep posting, but split!

Cool a taxi w/ a 350, that sure beats that little Smart w/ a 1 liter they have here.

BTW, who bailed you out?? Someone was foolish enough to pay your bail bonds.
