Wow. Never heard of a stainless cage. If not worried about all out performance and racing approval would sure look awesome.

I have always done the cages in stainless, we have an outlet just a few miles away that sells all types of stainless tubing. My exhaust is 3 inch 304 stainless. UI pay $2.00 per foot for 3 inch and about $1.50 for 1 5/8's
This is the only shot I have hosted on the forum of the mustang stainless cage. I liked stainless because it never needed painting and only polishing, I could easily tig weld it for good looks and my hydraulic pipe bender could do a really nice job on it. It would be no problem to make one up for the vet if I went that route.
I will take pictures tomorrow and try to post some of the mustang stainless cage.

Thanks for the picture. I could easily build it from stainless but it weighs 14 ounces to the foot so it isn't light.
Have a nice night

Stainless isn't that strong/tough, really mild steel is going to be your best bet. (Carroll Smith has taught me all I know, speaking of chassis books)
