I don't think it is photochopped, there is too much customizing of the door shape, the handle, grills etc. and the rear window is sloped, not vertical. That is a little too detailed for even the best

Sorry diablo kid, but your opinion does not change the industry standard definition. Mid engine means between the axles. I've heard this many places, but here's a quick quote I found somewhere on this forum
"Quoting Feb 2004 Road&Track regarding the C6: "The front of the engine is on the axle centerline, for a front-mid-engine layout"."
burners, you are correct that it's common terminology, generally when you say midengined with no qualifier, it's assumed to be rearmid. That's just because it has been the most common.
It's a chop, if you zoom in you can see the smudge in the bushes where the top used to be.
