Not that way here in Eastern NC!! Not even in the small towns surrounding me. I know, I looked for a long time... Seems to be a good demand for good solid driver C3's these days! Especially 68-72 with the 69 being the most popular (greater demand if it's an A/C car and more so if a Convertible) I Find most guys here would rather have a sm car as a driver too. I drove to FL to find mine and it wasn't cheap! ...You usually get what you pay for! Good luck huntin

I found mine in a barn 10 miles from the house. It drove straight to the shop for brakes and tires. I paid 3700.00 for it. I found two in Atlanta for 4500.00, one had a severely cracked body, the other no interior, but perfect mechanicals. Nothing turnkey for under 10,000 though. I still wish I had bought the one with no interior. There's a story behind that one!

I live in Tennessee, and I dont see any deals on vettes here on the average. You can pick a deal up on one here and there, but thats true anywhere if you dont get in a hurry, and have a wide network looking for you.The last chrome bumper car I saw here for sale was a rebuilder 68 and the price was somewhere around 9-10k.It was quite a while back,I looked at it for some other forum members,it supposedly ran but you could tell it had been parked for some time. Some other guy bought it as I was on the way over there,so I dont know how bad or good the car really was in detail.

I picked mine up for 6000. I've put about 7-8 grand in it and if i tried to sell it I might be lucky to get 10! No cheap vettes around here.

Nope, not here in MS.

Theres plenty around, but the owners want more than what they are worth, and they sit and rot in a shed.

Of course if you went by the listings, every vette, esp a chrome bumper is RARE

Now, if you want a deal on winter boots and ice-scrapers, they can be had for less in FLA.

Seriously, though...I believe population is the key. Anywhere you have a large(r) population, the price of vehicles will be more (with some exceptions).

Deals can be found anywhere if you look. I don't think the southern states have a lock on them though.

i hear there are some great deals on vettes in Iraq right now. shipping could be a Bi*ch though. probably need to check it over real close before you turn the ignition the first time.

I feel the price here in LA. are a little lower than the rest of the country. I'm going to look at a 71 today convt. which they are asking 5-7 K.
