I was a senior in high school when i bought my first new car a 1971
chevelle and still got it.
Next two new vehicles that i still have are a 1980 honda cbx and
1981 corvette(bowling green)
They are all driven in the nice weather sometimes in parades
and cruises too.
Talk about being stuck in the 70s and 80s

My first car was a 1968 Pontiac Grande Parisienne (Bonnyville) with a 327 210 hp. (From dad) Great makeout car!

My first new car was a 1976 Honda Civic. Dad paid half. I had enough money for a motorbike but didn't want me driving to college.

First car without dad's help. 1976 Oldsmobile 442 with the 455. I bought it in 1979. Still have it

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT
Had the V-6 with the fastback sides. They had a bad rep, but I gotta tell ya it was a fun little car. Had it 12 years and traded it in for nuthing. It had 60k miles on it and was spotless. Thought with a kid coming I'd need a family-truckster

Oh Well

My first car was a 58 Chrysler New Yorker with a 392 Hemi engine. A fast boat w/ a great back seat.

First new car was a 65 Corvair Monza 140hp (not turbo). High maintenance vehicle.

Now there's nothing new that I both want and can comfortably afford. Next car hopefully a 96 Impala supersport (the full sized Corvette).
