I was a senior in high school when i bought my first new car a 1971
chevelle and still got it.
Next two new vehicles that i still have are a 1980 honda cbx and
1981 corvette(bowling green)
They are all driven in the nice weather sometimes in parades
and cruises too.
Talk about being stuck in the 70s and 80s
right out of college anew white '79 Mustang. First year of the Fox platform that Ford just retired after 25 years... amazing! And I love the new '05 Mustang GT on the new platform... that car is sweet!

My first new car (i actually ordered it) -- 1990 Mustang GT, auto, black ext. grey leather int., Cold air intake, off road exh, flowmasters, etc. etc.

1st car was 67 chevelle convertible.i blew engine and traded it including the 6-8 rolls of duct tape on top and seats for a brand new 1974 friggin Vega GT Still want to kick my *** everytime i thinke about it,especially when i see a nice chevelle
Les! your 70Z looks just like my 71Z.Even have the small rear spolier.As a matter of fact my third new car was a 70Z/28 4speed cortez silver.I think I've had at least 5 70 z's all 4 speed cars.Still have my 71 like your 70.I bought it at the turkey Rod run in Daytona 5 yrs ago.Still looks like new.

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT
Had the V-6 with the fastback sides. They had a bad rep, but I gotta tell ya it was a fun little car. Had it 12 years and traded it in for nuthing. It had 60k miles on it and was spotless. Thought with a kid coming I'd need a family-truckster
