My third car was my first brand new car, a 1982 Camaro Sport Coupe 173 cu in V6 four speed car. That followed a '70 Monte Carlo and a '72 Dodge Challenger 340 Pistol Gripped 4-Speeder. After the Camaro came a couple of new cars:'84 Monte Carlo SS, '85 IROC-Z 5-Speed (one of my favorites), '87 K5 Blazer, '89 Dodge Dakota Sport P/U, '92 Silverado Stepside V6 5speed. Then I took a step back (due to finances) and bought a used '81 El Camino with V6 4-speed. Had that for eight years and bought a 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero and used that as a daily driver for 1 1/2 years before finally getting my '78 Vette (my dream) which I'll keep forever! KEEP DRIVING!!!!!!!

1981 Honda Accord Hatchback. Haven't bought a new one since and don't plan to ever again. Unless I hit the lottery. Then I'll just buy old Vettes and a new one to drive.

my 75 vette was the first car i purchased but used in 1980.

The first car i ever drove was a 66 Buick Lesabre, my dad's hand me down. It had a wildcat 375 motor which was i think a 340ci with a carter carb.

My first brand new car was a 86 Buick Grand National. The fastest car i have ever owned. That car was a barrel of fun.

Now that i think about it, i'm probably more of a Buick guy than Chevy.

First car I bought was in 1978 - a 1969 Nova SS that my mom's boss sold me - with my mom's insistence! Boss's wife wanted him to get rid of it... My mom cosigned a bank note so I could establish credit. It was a 350/300 4-spd. Great car! BTW, That family and ours stay in touch and the old boss always wants to know what I am driving these days...

First new car was a 1983 Toyota Supra 5-spd. Even today, those are great used cars with a following of their own (but not by those who do the modded-out ricer cars...) - solid 150 HP inline 6 - very smooth. It was a great car that I sold a few years later when I bought my first Corvette - a 1977 L-82 (used).

Many cars bought and sold since then, but I keep a Corvette for fun!

First "car" was an 86 Suzuki Samurai while I lived in Guam. I had 2 more since, lots of fun under 55MPH!! First American car was a black 79 Firebird Formula with Keystone Klassics which got me hooked on GM.

Never bought a NEW car and dont think I ever will, unless I win the Powerball lottery or my stocks somehow explode in value.

I go the the 2 year old with 20-30K on them with $10K off the sticker.

Brent...

'95 Wrangler w/ 4 cyl, 4 speed, black and no A/C. Couldn't get out of it's own way. Had to move into the slow lane on highways when going up hill if I didn't get up enough speed beforehand. Transmission was defective; I drove it for the better part of a year without 5th gear. Rode like a shopping cart with a broken wheel. Nickname: "The Dirt Blender. " A real POS. Never again.
