I pretty much drive like a grandma, and always have the ASR on. I want to get used to the car before I test the limits...
Steering effort is way down from the Bridgestones that were on there, I can tell you that!
The tires LOOK really soft though. Once they are warmed up, if they don't stick, I will be very disappointed.
LOVING the engine detail MRHTRD!

CSS996,
Thanks for the compliment. Not bad for having 90K miles.
Your going to find that those Kumho's are the stickiest tire on the road !!
I had a set on my 97 6 spd coupe and I had difficulty breaking them loose they were so sticky. But they hold like a mother on corners. I used them on a road course track and I was way over my driving skills limit with those tires on the car. They are that good !!!!!
I'll have a set on the Ruby next spring.

They really set your car off from the rest. If I replicate, I promise I won't drive in your area......

They are Fikse FM/5's in 17x9.5 front and 17x11 in the rear. The rear is the GS offset - 56mm if I recall correctly.
The tires are actually several years old now. They are the original Michelin Pilot SXX's 285 in the front and 315 in the rear.
They don't make the tire anymore unfortunately but mine are still in good shape so I haven't upgraded.
Let me know if you have any other questinos

I made it. Bought the seat off of ebay then made the base to attach the seat to. Bought new bottom leather/foam and side bolsters from Al Knoch. All together I have about $500 into it. I use the chair everyday at work!

Hard tops on a vert C4 looks so cool. Ruby is an awesome color. I like it almost as much as my polo.
