Wow! Personally I think the people that drive the cars every day, rack up tons of miles, and enjoy the hell out of them are awesome. These cars were built to perform, not built for maximum waxing performance.
Certainly style is a part of the Corvette. They wouldn't be as appealing if they were hideous, and I keep mine clean too. But if someone has a choice between driving it or keeping it clean, and they choose driving it, how can you find fault with that?
