V8 Fieros are a hoot. There are few things funnier than watching some riceball with NAAWWWWSSS fade into the mirror. Though I doubt he will see the humor in it. The look on their faces is priceless. You'll love mine....I intentionally left it looking bone stock except for the "2M8" decal on the trunk.

I'm glad you brought that up. Our merry little gang of vigilantes was about to go hunt down an Ethiopian. You just saved his life.

my new badges came in today. i decided against the 84-90 black emblems and decided since im customizing the car to my preference and have chrome rims i went with the 93 anniversary style badges. I know its not TECHNICALLY correct but I liked the look of the chome on black. atleast I stayed with C4 emblems

Well I figure its time for a update... My cars STILL in the shop. Its painted but the paint fisheyed on both doors under the mirrors. Been there for what 2 months now? They are painstakingly slow and its annoying but w/e. Doors are shaved, the paint looks really good. Super glossy and mirrored. You can put on eye liner in the black paint literally. Just waiting on the redo of the doors now. Ill go get some pics today or tomorrow as the cell phone is useless for that.

Had a snag on the front end. The bumper skin was cracked by previous owner so I bought another skin locally. Well the skin didnt line up right and was warped a bit. So they are fixing the stock skin *plasic weld n ***** so thats a delay in itself. They had to redo the fiberglass on the doors when they shaved them as the guy messed up on it and it cracked opening and closing the doors. Just delay after delay but the old girl looks showroom fresh

Best friend has a 2004 Alero, it's a clean car and he takes care of it, low low miles...he went to a night club with his G/F and when he came out someone had danced on the roof and smashed it in so bad the headliner was fubar'd. Then it looks like the jumped onto the hood because it was smashed in BAD...probably some fat ***. It looks like they climbed up on the back, because the factory spoiler was broken.

Gotta love dumasses.

If it's any consolation those punks will always be punks, and will eventually pay for this, and life will go on for you with just some inconvenience.

It's going to cost what ever a good paint job will cost. the whole car will need repainted and I wouldn't let the insurance company off the hook for some cheap fix.

Oh just saw this happened some time back. I bet those punks are still punks though.

Well, this is Texas. The punks that did this will do it again....and will eventually get caught doing it to the wrong guy. That will effectively put an end to their shenanigans.....if they survive it.

Shbby....let's meet up when the car is finished....I'd love to see how it came out.

Well, I gotta admit my ignorance - thankfully this forum helps my continuing education!

What the heck is "shaving the doors"?

Shaving the doors means eliminating the door handles. Then fibreglassing up the hole you made.( I know SMC the hole) Then installing some sort of remote operated door openers (poppers) How's life in Rochester Railroadman?
