Just took home an '85 - PICS!
Hello gentlemen,
It's a 1985 4+3 with 67k miles/108k kms. Its in decent shape. This is my 2nd Corvette. I took it home for $5000.
I'm 23, and never had a stick shift before, so this is my learner car.
Hope it survives the lessons!
Found this car for sale locally, and bought it after asking about it in this thread.

Thanks for the advice.

That IS. A good looker. I advised you to keep looking but your pics show a better car than I imagined. Cheers!

Looks very clean and well taken care of. You basically got a Corvette for the cost of the tires and re-paint.
Can you give is your driving impressions compared to the C3 as well?

Thanks for the replies guys.
That Z28 is my first car.
Oil pressure sender does not work unfortunately. Something to sort out.
I don't know too much history on the car. I am the 4th owner. The guy I bought it from was and older gentleman that owned the car for 15 years, and a woman owned it for 10 years before that. The first owner had the car for about 2 years before trading it in.
I just really like the c4s, and they seem great value for the dollar. All my other cars are carbed and direct drive. I wanted something fuel injected, manual, and with overdrive for once. This is my newest car, and it's still older than me .
I still have not driven the car yet. Not plated yet.
Lifted it on my hoist today, and noticed the rear wheels sort of collapse inward - is this normal or expensive? Everything seems tight otherwise.
Thanks.

That's a super clean C4. Congrats on the purchase. Looks great next to your '78. I grew up with a 79, always liked the 78-9 cars best of the rubber bumper era.
