I read that bashing post sharky. I say, F him. I've done the same on a few things, and I DID NOT drop the ball. All HECK was breaking loose around here, and sometimes, people just gotta cut ya a little slack, ya know? I was actually like "wth?" When that guy said that YOU were the guy that was jerking his chain...I was like naw naw, not Sharky, Sharky's cool when it comes to dealing with fellow C4'ers. I believe we've actually wanted to buy the same part on here before, and as I recall you let me go ahead of you or something to that effect. Oh no you don't. I recently resigned from our local F-body message board & club because they basically all suck. You guys are a step apart however, if all the good people leave we'll be screwed.

Couple things, first, I was told by an old and well respected friend once that the general public has a very short memory; sometimes an even shorter attention span when it comes to thing in life that may actually make a S**T!
To demonstrate this point, he asked several people what the lead story was on whichever major news channel they watched (this was pre-Afghanistan). He then asked the same group, who the lead charachter was on one of the local sitcoms. Guess who knew more about what?? :lol:
In reviewing the posts, it seems as previously stated, that you da man! So hang in there and don't let the Ba***rds get you down.

Fact of life: Sometimes deals don't work out. If this comes as a shock to anyone, maybe they should read a newspaper or switch on the TV news once. Maybe I'm unaware of the details of the whole story, but it doesn't sound like anybody got ripped off. I don't see where there has been any great harm done here.
Sharky, IMHO your contribution to this forum has been invaluable. You frequently represent the voice of reason despite the insanity of the majority. (I'm not saying the rest of you guys are nuts or anything...). If you leave, we will all be a little worse off as a result.

Hey Sharky, don't go...I have wanted to a couple times, mainly when that dude I don't even know posted some mile long thread about how I was supposedly hitting on him and trying to "steal him from his wife"????!! Gimme a break! What a mental case. That really upset me. But it was one bad apple out of so many good ones. Try to ride it out! The bad ones seem to come and go but the good ones luckily stick around. You're one of those! :D

I AM SORRY TO SAY THE STORY IS TRUE. i am not the one that made the post that made him quit. i just heard about it today and i read the post. he has been doing the same thing to me for 3 months. i gave him every opertunity to make good on his word. we have exchanged emails probably 50 times. good or bad a man is only as good as his word. i lost money on this deal not to mention time. before you flame the guy that made the negative post about sharkey read it all. this has happened to several forum members includeing myself. :mad i would never do this to one of my forum members friend or not. :seeya
