Goodbye!
I have been really disatiisfied and ashamed with all the bashing that has occurred on this forum. It has gotten ugly. Today, I too got bashed for dropping the ball in a transaction made on the C4 Parts section. SO to all my friends that I made on this site, I bid you goodbye! And to all that helped me to make a repair on the many vettes that I have fixed, Thank You! It was great while it lasted. I made over 2000 enjoyable posts.

Hate to see you go, Eddy. You've been a good contributor to this forum, and I for one have learned a few tech remedies from you. Don't stay away too long. A bad transaction is not a good reason to split. :cheers:

Hey brother, I don't really know you but I've read your post and learned a few things from you sa well :cheers: I believe we've even disagreed on a thing or 2, but it's always been good natured.
I'm not sure what happened with the parts thing, but you don't seem to me to be the kind of person who'd intentionally "drop the ball." I'm sure that what ever happened was purely unintentional.
Personally, along with the others
, I'd like to see you stick around. Obviously with 2000 post, you're a fixture, an integral part of the forum...and you know what happens when we start taking out integral parts :smash: ...

Well, even though I've never addressed you personally, now I am. You've given alot of advice here, some of it has been way over my head, but some helped me also. I always enjoy reading your posts and your advice. I even remember how you handled your son having a wreck awhile back. I thought your restraint was remarkable, and hope if I'm ever in the same situation, I would handle it as well as you did. As in all things in life, there are always bad things that must come with all the good, this forum can be no exception. I sincerely hope you will reconsider and stay with this great group of people that will surely miss you if you leave, you are one of the one's that make the forum what it is. I'ts not perfect, but it's the best we've got, and that's pretty damn good. Hell I put a sign under a mods post in off topic today, and a guy came back telling me I could do that when I had another couple of thousand posts, pissed me off, but I let it slide. Let this slide, I know you're pissed, but we're on your side.

Just started coming in to the posts, but have read many including some of yours in the last few months before joining the forum. Not a good idea to lose the good people who really know what they're doing. I have just recently purchased my first vette and I may just need some help from you in the future, not that this is my only reasoning for you to stay, but that we all do need people who can be there to give some good advice or even to give a little criticism when it is needed. Anyway, Please do not leave those who need you and want you just because someone else tries to give you a bad reputation. Judging by what I have read from others, you have more than proved your worth on this forum. Hope you change your mind about leaving. :flag
