I had HID before. I tucked the entire setup in the housing. What exactly did you want to do with it?
Just curious how it worked with a pop-up. I am good with these LEDs.

I was getting the P0100 code in the DIC consistently for about a week. Mileage has been poor for even longer. On the drive home from work, I stopped for gas and the 'vette wouldn't restart. When I unplugged and reconnected the MAF, the dead car started fine. And the code hasn't popped since.
Weird things usually fail when I splurge on something fun, like LED headlights. When I parked Lucy last Thursday, the antenna didn't retract. Came out the next morning and it had retracted.

It was fine. The problem with the HID was that it was a used set and I knew that. Yossi fixed a flickering problem with one of them by changing the plugs. Later on, the other one started acting up and by then, Yossi seemed to have gone out of business so I got LED.
I'd ask why. Either connectors or the MAF is heading south if that is the only thing you did.
Not sure but I think the stock Bose could turn on after the car runs and has a time out some later time. I threw my Bose away so IDK.

-It's working again now.

-The antenna has always come and gone with a flick of the switch on my Bose. I really don't use it much. Just happened to leave my AirPods behind.
Just a note. I ordered the JW speaker lights mentioned earlier in this thread. 2 reasons; I use use more brightness than my H4 lights on the return road and I thought they would be lighter in weight. Much to my surprise, $180 got me one headlight. Even though 2 are shown on Amazon's page, only 1 headlight is included. Other less expensive ones are sold in pairs. Not only that, they weigh at least a couple lbs more per light than the H4s. They are going beck to Amazon.
I had followed these (JWS) on a "headlights" website where they did a video review of three brands of LED conversion lights and recommended these as "best." That website, last I looked, sells these for more than $300 EACH. Sometime last year their price was right around $600 EACH. Now that so many cheaper alternatives have come on the market, can't imagine JWS can compete for the market without huge price drop.
