Sounds promising. I have my tune set to pull timing first and cut fuel second.
That seems about right. I looked at the tune and the difference between the two is like 150 rpms so not a huge thing to notice. But I definitely hit it.

Yeah pull timing for over exuberant driving and cut fuel for missed gear shift, stuck throttle, etc.

Were you in 3rd at 45? Mine would have downshifted instantly into 2nd at 45 and take off like someone kicked it in the ***. Sounds good though and responsive.

Nah that's second. I went to floor and right back off and you can tell by how much I moved around that I wasn't expecting that lol. Guy was only 30 in front of me so I slowed down to get some room. Its getting uncomfortable to tune safely on the street now...
That’s great news. You should be able to get it running nicely. There will be other dyno days when you get that Renegade.
yea. 150 for 3 pulls and he'll give me time to make whatever adjustments I need.. seems reasonable to me. I'll do it in a few weeks when I have everything close. See here.

Will he hang around and help you? I found that when we tuned our racing BMW recently the guy vas very helpful. He basically left us to it but would give you some tips which made the whole process much quicker and easier. A lot of the time the problem is the guys aren’t familiar with the ECU/tunning software so don’t want to commit, but they do know how to tune if you drive the software. With our BMW the guy knew the old Haltechs well so gave us some good tips. Later in the day we put my corvette on the dyno and he was interested in the EBL software (he said it looked exactly the same as something else but I can’t remember what he said) and of course TunerPro was obvious to him. He ended up jumping in the driver seat and just getting me to drive the software from the passenger seat. It was quick and efficient. Next time we do dyno work I’ll make sure we pay for some of his time because that’s the quickest and easiest and you are more likely to get good results.
yeah sorry I was posting at 4:30am so still a bit sleepy. What I meant was you would think that the timing was retarded or the engine was lean to get the pipes to glow cherry red at fast idle.
