And how most people drive these on the street, it doesn't matter. On most days, my 400+ hp cars get smoked at stoplights by 100hp econoboxes because I'm just going to work and not in a rush. I don't need a 1.5 second 0 to 60 to go to work. But a nice chassis, modest weight, and engaging steering does make it a bit more fun.
Honestly, the most fun cars I've driven have also been some of the slowest. I had a mini cooper s with the supercharged baby engine and it was a riot. VW GTIs, tons of of fun. Fiesta ST, my c4, etc all tons of fun without being super fast. Honestly, the most fun "fast" car I've driven has been vipers and the boss 302.
