Here in St. Pete. FL, very few Vette drivers wave back. I have just about stopped waving, in the last 5 years I've had maybe 4 or 5 other Vette enthusiasts return my wave. None of them were female.

There's a stuck up blonde yellow convert C5 driver here in woodbridge VA area that does not wave at all at any time.

I get more waves from guys, cause more guys drive vettes down here. Most of the women I see in vettes seem to have no clue as to what they are driving, probably a friends vette.

unfortunately there are not many female corvette enthusiasts where i live. most of the women here drive beat up c4's and typically have big hair and a cigarette hanging off their lip. i have stopped waving at women all together :(
the response from guys isn't much better though. there only seems to be two main types of corvette owners here. type 1 are the guys that drive horribly abused c4's that should be in a salvage yard. type two is the very old guys in their c5's that drive around doing 25 mph everywhere.
i seem to be the only young guy in town that actaully likes to take care of their vette(s) and drive them like they should be driven.
anyway, here's my wave :seeya

well...here in arizona, i cant say that ive seen many women that have waved, or even drive a vette. but, as a side note, to all women that drive vettes, more power too you! it is definitely very sexy.

I am furious. I was driving today in Muncie and saw a light blue C4 headed opposite me. I had the top off and the windows down. I saw it from ages away and as it approached, I stuck my lower arm out the window and waved. Bitch looked RIGHT at me. Kept driving. No nothing. Just looked me IN THE EYE!!!! and kept going.
How's that for Corvette Comaraderie?? Ugh, she should have her car revoked or impounded or something!! It's not like she could have thought herself better or something...it was not a sparkly new car or anything...
Making it up for it, though, were:
white C3
red C5, in parking lot. we park next to it. ended up seated next to the friendly owners.
black C5
red C4
silver C4
maroon C4, with a wonky eye...the chick gave us the oh-so-cool wave.
and I think another one or two, but hey, that's a great list for one short drive!!

I have NEVER had one wave to me. Most women in Vettes around here are elderly driving with the top up on their new C-5 Vert. Disgraceful, just disgraceful. They have no idea of the heritage of this car.

In C4's, over half wave back, in C5's which are much more prevalent with women drivers, Almost none wave. Go figure...
