Here's something much worse. Some one racing a real Grand Sport, etc and wrecking it. Why on earth would some one race in the Silver Classic at top speed knowing there is a chance fo wrecking?
To me that's real dumb.
It's only a car. If the guy has the money to buy the car, prep it, and race it, more power to him. It makes him happy to have the only GS being actively raced.

What about the guys who mod their engines to get 405+ horses. Are they trying to be ZR1s. Why didnt you just but a Z? Its the same thing. Besides more often than not owners spend more money building the clone than they would buyin the real thing. Except for the idiots that just put ZR1 emblems on. Besides if you know your stuff these cars stand out by a mile and give us a free laugh. I guess mines a clone too and yeah it cost me more than a 91-96. But i was just rescuing a salvalage anyway.
