Re: Tire poll time! (69mako)
I put Kumhos on the front about a year ago and am ordering a set for the back in about a week. It had GSC's that are pretty much rock hard. I was on a cruise this last weekend and almost went 4 wheeling when the GSC's lost traction on a sharp twisty.

Re: Tire poll time! (69mako)
When looking at tires for the C4 it's easy to rag on Goodyear because that is what they all came with and people rip on them when the new tires they put on are better. I used to hate driving cars that had Gatorbacks on them because the tires never let you know when they were breaking loose. But when they came out in 84 they were the best tires out there. Same thing with the GS-C's. Those tires were unique to there time and so is the GS-D3 they are in my opinion the best tires you can put on your C4. The tread pattern is the big reason, they are great in the rain, and the outer sholders aren't broken up in individual tread blocks like every other tire out there. Those blocks are what makes a tire noisey and wear unevenly. I know that allot of people are getting on the bandwagon with the GS-D3 and the reason is beacause these tires are that much ahead of there time. Just my $.04
