A couple of years ago, I bought some black fabric at Wal-Mart and recovered my driver side since it was very sunfaded and was starting to come apart. If you can run a sewing machine, or know someone that can it is not hard. In fact, this should not be a really expensive fix at an interior shop.

You're more than welcome. Someone else said that they had used a paint stirrer stick cut to fit and that worked well too...

tobijohn, if it's not too much trouble could you send me a copy of those plans? I don't have my 94 yet (still waiting on the carrier to pick it up in VA) so don't know if I have this problem, but would really like to start a file with this type of info.
