I can't quite put my finger on it, but I love the styling of the C4! I will never have a C5, or C6. I would rather have a ZR1. <sigh> maybe someday........

I agree! Something about the mystique of a 95 ZR-1 that would have me kicking my L98 to the curb.

I still say the C6 looks like the bastard hybrid child of the C3, C4, and C5. I mean c'mon C6, WHO'S YER DADDY?? What with the more dramatic fender swell of C3, the more tapered rear glass and round taillights of early C4 and the same rear shape (albeit not as fat) as the C5 with the pipes in the middle. It's a mix if you ask me.

Now the horse power and headlights are another story. Thats ALL C6!!

I freakin' love'em!! But I'll not be getting rid of my C4 anytime soon.

One thing that I've noticed since the C6 came out that I think is cool is alot more people ask "Hey is that the NEW Corvette?"

To which I reply "Nope, better, ....just an old 1990"

After reading this thread I've got just 3 things to say:

The C-4 is the last of "what a true vette" looks like and will soon be my first vette.

The C-5 does kinda have that "big butt" look doesn't it.

Any of you guys who do not know who Steve McQueen was should not be allowed to drive your vette again until you've seen him both jump that Triumph over the barbed wire fence and blow off that sh*t-box-dodge. After all ... that was driving!! not special effects.

Steve McQueen, along with Malcolm Smith and a few others, were the Godfathers of motorcross. Back when men were men and suspension was about 2 inches of travel and a pair of hard coil springs. Those were the days. On any Sunday......

day chevy in monroeville pa is selling the c6 at msrp. they have 4, 2 auto and 2 6sp. first ones i saw live and in person. sat in it, and played around a bit. i love the rear end and the entire shape of the car... still trying to like the headlights.. but don't dislike them. the high tech scares me. keyless ignition, the lack of door handles, etc... i love the interior though. too much of the high tech continues to make me see dollar signs over and over again. there is just something good about working on a car, and not having any idea of what to do when your keyless ignition don't work and there is no physical key and ignition to start your car. plus the saleman gave me a new brochure with the cd-rom. nice people.. have lots of corvettes for sale. i wish i could have driven it right out of the showroom....

I love the new c6, saw one in the parking lot the other day, rubbed that new smooth paint. Owner came out bout to yell at me, since i am 17, and look 12, then he saw my vette jacket on and smiled, then let me drive it. I called him god, and he liked it.
