They are growing on me. I did get to drive one also. Very nice.

This jsut isn't sucking up, but having had a C3, it took me while to get used to the C4. I am not a big fan of the back bumper on the C5. I am starting to believe the C4 is the best looking.

They just don't look right in the front.Euro head lights just don't fit.Be nice if GM changes them. I prefer the hide aways. It is a corvette trait.Think I'll keep my c4. If I do change, it will be to a c2, not a c6.

Not a big fan of the headlight change myself either. Always thought that was just part of the Corvette look. Aside from that though I think they look nice enough.

I thought of this the first time I saw one...

It really looks like the general ripped off the viper's front end for the C6.

I don't like vipers, so far my opinion about the C6 is the same

Just the opposite for me the more I see it the better I it.I was a little disapointed when I first heard about the headlights but I got over that.

The only place I'm seeing them is on the Dealer's lots and there's quite a few of them (along with plenty of deeply discounted C-5's). On the other hand, I've seen 2 new Silver Clouds roaming the streets and the Mustang seems to be much bigger deal (if not better styled). Considering 1/5 of the Corvette production is sold in So. Cal, I'm a bit surprised, but I'm not a fan of the C6. The rear has a Caddy CHMSL and NOS C4 taillights. The front would be ok - until you hang a license plate on the front of it. Time will tell, but Chevy has got to tap into the GEN X'rs as the traditional market - us Boomers - are beginning to buy Buicks and if they can't do that, then the car will probably fall by the wayside. Lots of quality issues contine plague the car - production delays on the tranny; the first 5000 recalled due to brake line problems - wow.

I had a Silver vert on order that I had to cancel to prepare for the work and financial issues that need to be in order for the house that we will eventually have built. It was a sad day for me when I called to cancel my order. My order would have been placed 2 weeks ago and I would have taken delivery in 3-4 weeks from now!

*flame suit on*
I like the new mustang... kinda has a classic styling...
very good job by ford.
I say that as I can't stand the look of 95% of the mustang crap on the road...

I don't understand that commercial though, I realize it's supposed to be a 'Field of Dreams' setting, but who's the old guy that comes out? Or is it just supposed to be some random person from the era that inspired the redesign?

I don't think you will get flamed for liking the new mustang but you should get flamed for not knowing who that "old guy" is.

I dream about the new C6 every day, specially after I got to ride in one, but the mustang was not impresive at all, the back of the car really looks like crap IMO.

They can keep the C6. It looked a whole lot better in pictures. And even then, it wasn't "AWE INSPIRING" just ehh(to me).

Speaking of Mustangs....I am more than likely getting a 2005 red/black gt when I sell the audi.
