engine install with long tubes ??
Can you install a LTx with long tubes on?

well u cant with the trans on and they stick out past where the trans comes into the engine... IDK

how long are your tubes? the 'full length' headers are 30", and then there are 26" headers, both made by hooker. i've run to 30"ers and the cut the collector off and welded on the flowmaster 4-2-1 collector, adding about another 12" to the length. a little tricky getting a collector flange on and making the bend in the floor pan

I'd install them after. Access is pretty good on the bolts and they should slip right up into place. I just think that'd be easiest.

Mine are TPIS...they went in from the bottom. the pass side was a little tighter than the drivers side was.
