Rich, your jack is doing great. Want me to bring it home saturday morning? Also when does your tranny get back?
I think the converter will be here Monday.. But I have to drop the rear end to. Saturday will be fine.

It looks like the jack is closer to the centerline of the car than the normal jacking point. Almost like it's being lifted from the rear diff ,this is what you would expect to happen.
That said, with my roll bar installed and jacking from the rear jack point, the front tire comes up VERY quickly and there is no creaking and crackling.
Thought I had responded to Larry's post earlier.... Same jacking point I have always used. The trinagle part where the welds comes together.





That's exactly what I would be expecting from increased torsional stiffness....
