Pertronix HEI Upgrade kit
Has anyone used the pertronix kit, or do you have any other suggestions. My car is an 85 L98 4+3, w/ cam and head mods. I would appreciate your input.

i'm using a accel brute thunder coil(48,000volts), accel ignition module 7 pin, brass terminal cap, MSD 8.8 wires. The coil comes with the low resistance brush that will prevent damage from overheating. Make sure you match the wire colors of your stock coil. In also opened the plug gap to 0.50.

I haven't personally sold their HEI kits, but I can attest that their points to electronic conversions are very good and dependable products. I have seen their HEI upgrade kits and if these products are as good as their other conversion kits you have nothing to worry about. Also Pertronix has been around for years and has always had a very good reputation. And they have excellent telepohone support should you ever need any help.

I called pertronix just to get some info and they told me it wasnt compatible with computer controlled cars. I have seen them advertised in P.A.W. but it never said what module. I ended up buying the Accel in cap super coil, 7 pin module , and 8.5 msd wires from summit, also got one of Acell's caps and rotor. I appreciate everybodys input that answered this post.
