Default Need some advice.

I need some links.. for full supercharger kits for a 90~96 corvette. Any help and I would be MOST greatful. I'm looking at trading in my VR-4 for a c4.. and no offence.. My VR-4>>Stock C4. I just can't go from 400HP to.. 260~340?? (not sure hP ratings on C4s) I'm just a big fan of forced induction so again any help would be amazing.

The VR4 is about 10 times as rare as a C4 vette. Why would you trade strait up? For less horsepower none the less. If you want a C4 just get one as a daily driver and have fun with the VR4. You can pick up a cheap one for well under $10k if you look around. That puts your monthly payments around $200. Otherwise just sell the VR4 and take the cash and buy a C4, or a C5 for that matter.

Heck, sell the VR4 and get a newer C5. We got the new rear mount twin turbo setups done, and they are making over 500 RWHP on an otherwise stock engine. The TT setups will support over 750Hp if a FI based engine is built for the application.

Have you driven a C4 to compare to your car? 400 HP through the AWD drivetrain is going to have a bit more drag against it compared to through a rear wheel drive platform. If you can't 'sacrafice' the 50 HP to get an LT4, the trade for a ZR1 and pick up 5 HP (although I think you'll have a hard time finding someone with a ZR1 that just has to have a VR4). If 400 HP is all that you're after, then a couple of easy mods to the LT1 or LT4 should get you there. No need for a blower.

Let me clarify that a little.. 400AWHP :-) at the wheels. roughly 450ish in the motor.

Although I love my VR-4 its a great car Ive wanted one since I drove it in the Orginal Grand turismo. The drive train in the car is flawed all to hell. At much more power then 400AWHP the Transfer cases start breaking.. and when I say break I don't mean gears sheer.. I mean the entire case cracks open and breaks. Thats why I've been looking...

PS: thanks for info about greg.

I have seen on a highly modified one where they installed a Porsche 928 rear mounted transmission/diff. and removed the front drive system all together to handle the power.
