its your radiator cap. if it does not hold pressure your coolant boils at a temperature closer to 212* than at 240* plus when pressurized.

I was going to say, 109-130*F seems a little chilly, and as Bogus has said up there earlier, these temps (200-230*F ofcourse) are quite normal. I just replaced the water pump on my 94 last week and it now sits at a steady 88-90*C which is about 190-195*F, before pump replacement, it was about 200-205*F.
