sometimes, when I drive over a bump, I have to aproach it at an angle which appears to twist the car and the interior lights flicker as if the door switch acts up. What could this be a sign of? Bad door hinges or the nipple for the switch is worn down?
Start the car and get out and push/pull on each door while they are closed and when the light flickers you will know which side is the culprit.
I am *pretty* sure the switches are adjustable. You may have to pull off the rubber boot to access the switch itself.
Your door ajar switch needs adjusting. Try taping a penny to th edoor jan where the switch contacts on one side then the next to se if it cures the problem. Depending on which one it is you can adjust by pulling out the little plunger at eth end and reclosing the door carefully.
