Did better this weeekend:

7.947 @ 89.02
12.415 @ 109.55

Same mods as above, DA was probably pretty close to zero.

I ran up in Richmond at the National event...I am sure it will be my best time for the year since the air was so cold...I found this timeslip...it was not my best run but it was OK..

Here is the crazy part...I ran a 13.18 last year in Florida with a DA that was 1200 worse...go figure...lol

I'll put these new times in this week. I might make a new thread to flush out the posts, was thinking about starting fresh for this year.

I would like to see this thread done again after years of it being parked in a storage building I am getting my 95 back out because of the availability of track rentals. The roll cage issue caused me to stop playing with it years ago but on 4/24/99 84 degrees and a track elevation of 500 feet and it was decent day a guess on the DA +1200.

60' 1.90
1/8 7.24@101.10
1/4 10.97@133.12

The car is capable of alot more but always got thrown out of tracks

This is on pump gas and DR's can't wait to play with the old car again.

Default Almost...

I'm almost in the 12-second club...

After adjusting my throttle cable, I'm running at 100% and shaved 4/10ths off my previous best time...

R/T........ .041
60'........1.954
1/8........8.414
MPH......85.26
1/4......13.006
MPH....107.77

94 LT1 Coupe stock except for a Centerforce clutch, K&N Air Filter, Mufflers & Spare tire removed, and running on drag radials

I'll be back here shortly (I hope) with a 12.999 slip.

'Tis better to launch softly and GO versus a hard spin and not.

I got some new bests today. The old Vette seems to be running strong with 151K miles on her.

60': 1.740 (new best)
1/8: 8.095 @ 82.61 (new best time)
1/4: 12.740 @ 108.44 (new best time)
Density altitude: 274'

The car was doing well - I wasn't. Redlighted in the first round. Just wait 'till next week.

Mods and gearing as shown below.

Here's my new best time that I ran last weekend.

1.90 60'
8.23 1/8 @ 84.86
12.85 1/4 @ 106.69

I only got in 2 runs before I twisted my drivers side half shaft off.

Good job, my man. I appreciate the effort as this is one of the best "no BS, this is what my car does" posts around.

Keep it up. Also.... this should be a sticky

my 96 ce lt4 (of course 6spd), had dr's, flowmaster mufflers (not catback), and slp intake with bad clutch just turned:
R/T : .345
60' : 1.930
330 : 5.490
1/8 : 8.382 @ 85.02
1000: 10.843
1/4 : 12.948 @ 107.92

Cant wait to add my 100 shot, possibly 150 if I feel the need and of course if the clutch doesnt explode

My 1990 ZR1 38,000 miles all stock except for Hooker mufflers typically runs 12.60's @ 115. But one weekend it was about 60 degrees out and the air density was at 350 feet below sea level and the track was very good. My 60' times on Goodyear F1's was 1.79-1.81 and my best time of the day was 12.487 @ 117.430.

I just bought a 1993 convertible auto with 9,600 miles on it and 2.59 gears. I will be racing it at the Chevy drags at Bremerton Raceway in Washington on June 2nd. Any predictions on what it will run. The track is about 50 feet above sea level and it should be in the 60's.

Thanks,
Marc
