Well having read all of this maybe I shouldn't be as pissed off as I was! First time at a strip the other night and took it easy on the launch as I was a long way from home and didn't want to break anything. Done some work to the car and I think I need to get it reprogrammed as it was missing in the higher revs."87 Lingenfelter 383 on 315 sumitomos. 700r4 with 3.54 rear.

I set a new best MPH at the Street car shoot out this weekend 140.57 9.91.
The et sucket but the rain started to come down at 12:00 am so they called the race.The Nova and I decided to split the pot at $600.00 each and toss a coin for the trophys,I got second

96 Lt4 with 40 series flowmaster's, k&n air filter, street tires nitto 555's. My clutch was slipping pretty bad, and could smell the clutch after each run. The car also truned over to 116,000 miles on the way home. I love this car.

new times with the Auto conversion.
Finally hit 10's today at the Challenge.
1st run: 1.48/60' 11.08@123.52 spun going in to second.
2nd run: 1.50/60' 10.96@123.24 hazed second a bit.
3rd run: 1.49/60' 10.89@121.77 lifted at end trying not to break out but still did. 1/8th was 6.91@98.43 that run.
I converted the car to a 700r4 w/3600yank. Everything else the same as the M6 runs.

You know what you need to do to put the car there all the time.
Wish I would have come out to NJ for this race, but my 6yr old had an east coast qualifying wrestling tournament that he wanted to go to on Saturday. He took 2nd place out of about 15 kids.

First race yesterday I was paired against a '97 Viper. It wasn't too pretty, but it sure was fun.
