Hey, Central C, this is very cool. It would be nice to keep this post alive through the 2006 season. I want to add my car but it won't be ready until Jun-ish

Best time with 2.73's, mods in sig, a nice day in Florida mid 80's

R/T....166
60'.....1.628
330....4.901
1/8....7.703
MPH...87.29
1000..10.142
1/4....12.190
MPH...108.98

We can all post are "best" time but what about what we run most of the time? Most of the time with the 2.73's I would run between a 12.5 to a 12.8.
I just installed a D44 with 3.45's and now I'm running between a 12.3 to a 12.4. Have not had enough track time with the 3.45's but I'm hoping for a high 11 soon.

When my G-Tech was leaning slightly downwards, I ran a 14.8 @ 91 mph once. Dunno if that would count and that was about a few days after getting the Vette.

Naw you have to go to a race track.

My gtech said I trapped 107 mph with a stock 85.

It's repeatable at least. I've been using it to measure 0-60 times at the track so I can communicated with all the magazine readers at work that keep bugging me.

Pulled a 4.95.

Why is your mph real low? Did you let off near the end? As far as that vid I saw you run, at least you can jump Z06s pretty badly on a stoplight race...

To be honest I really don't pay much attention to my MPH, its how "quick" I can get down the track.
Its all a matter of how efficient a car can put its power to the ground.
If I ran a 12.19 at 114 mph I would think I'm losing power to the ground
Just my thoughts.

Well, that's a pretty killer 60' you got. So yeah you did make good use of your power. My 60' usually avarages between 2.00-2.20. With some Nittos or BFG DRs, I've gotten my 60' as low as 1.8 before, but its hard on my D36.

Times on the right, mods - LT headers, that run had muff elims and BFG DR, cut lid and K&N, cut plugs, AFPR, don't know the DA but it was in the -'s
That slip has my best in each item on it the 1.81 60 etc.

I have to dig up my old time slips to get a picture but i remember my first 12 pretty good.

1993 6 speed. 1.6 rr, march pullies, crane hi-6 ignition, accel u-groove plugs, Watson mid-length headers, no cats w/stock exhaust, K&N filter w cut filter lid, afpr, 4.09 gears. Car was full tank of gas and running on what i call "real' street tires (comp ta -zr), not DRs. Although i think thats apparent with my 60 ft

60 ft - 2.098
1/8 - forget :/
1/4 et - 12.89
1/4 mph - 111.8

60'- 1.515
330- 4.460
660 (1/8)- 6.979
97.41 mph
1000- 9.161
1/4- 10.979
mph 124.86
This was my old combo. Typical 10.5:1 383 motor with superram and ported 113's. Add a 150 wet NOS shot and it ran this et.
Trans is homebuilt 700r4 with 2200 stall converter
Gears 3:07 on this run. Car now has 3:33
Hookers 1 3/4 headers w 2 1/4 duals and dynomax mufflers.
BFG Drag Radials.
DA was approx 2000 feet

What kind of car ran beside you? I like his 2.4 60' time... Looks like he had some kinda of power adder like forced induction, or nitrous to help him out...
