zirgo adjustable water temp fan controller
here is the zirgo fan controller i ordered off ebay. as you can see it is small and has a digital read-out with up and down adjustments that can be made real time from the car's interior. the zirgo gets it's readings from a sensor inside the upper radiator neck, wired under the hose.
a manual on/off switch can be a problem if you forget it's on and hit the freeway. i like this option better.
if the zirgo and my dash sensor argue about the temp, it doesn't matter. i can go with the zirgo or go with the dash temp reading or split the difference--it doesn't matter. i can turn the fan temp down in traffic, and then readjust later. and it's small. but the hip look ain't gonna cut it. i believe it needs to be painted.
now all i have to do is put it in.
i've been cruising around looking for tranny temp gauges, and i found that i can just buy a sender for $15 and wire it to this thing with a two way switch, and have it display both water and tranny temps. booyah!!!!
