The Tps sensor should be set to .54 v +-.075v, with the engine off and the key in the on position. Use a mulit meter and stick the probes in the back of the plug. use the top two wires

The lowest I could get mine to adjust to was 5.8.

What is the factory TPS setting for GM V8 MAP cars?
As the others had said which is basically the same if you had the MAF still

on MAP cars they're not supposed to be adjustable. The ECM will see whatever the voltage setting is at startup and that will be considered 0% throttle. On my '90, the TPS is not slotted to allow for adjustment.

acording to the corvette service manual you must set the tps sensor to .54v +-.075. and when you turn the switch off and back on the computer will reset itself.

BINGO!!! If you are talking about a 90 or 91 L-98 Vette, then there is no adjustment for the TPS.

PS: If the ECM senses a lower voltage after startup, it will reset to that lower voltage. This is to correct for partial throttle application during startup.

Hey, learn something new everyday! I knew the '90 and '91 were not adjustable, but didn't realize it would reset if you had partial throttle at startup! I was even wondering about that the other day when I started the car with my foot on the gas by accident.
