Default Holly Stealth Buildup

Well, i did it, i'm in the process of purchasing this Holly Stealth setup from Dennyz51: so... I have the following (1) 48mm TB, (2) set of stock injector cleaned and flow, (3) new gasket set, (4) 1.6 SA RR's, (5) new edelbrock elite valve covers & feltpro gasket set, but the main part is the Stealth setup.
Will the TB and Injectors be a good start?

side note: the Stealth will go out to get chromed and new SS hardware along with AN fittings.
Any and all design and comments will be greatly appreciated.

thanks guys

If your engine is stock, you "may" need to go to a 52MM, TB, you will need a AFPR for sure to boost the fuel.

Do you have a small distributor?

How much power do you think the igloo will make with the stealth ram?
A 350 doesn't need a 52 TB unless you feel the need to blow $300. Stock injectors should be good to 350 rwhp, at least mine are.

I am not familiar with this custom plenum, it may not need a small cap distributor.

My HSR does need the small cap, regardles, I think you will like the HSR on your L98,

Checked out the 4 sale section and see the setup will fit under the hood. Your motor will be unbearable to look at on a sunny day.
I see more trophies coming your way.

I was hoping the igloo would add at least 20hp to the overall, but a 12pack will do..

TB should be fine @ 48mm, stock i think is 42mm, so should not be an issue there.
good question: i have the stock distributor now, so i'm checking into this part... have time while i put the whole thing together...
And yes, already have the AFPR, did that change with my new injectors.

thanks

MSD 8366, he showed me how to mount my 6AL and helped me out in finding the right wiring pigtails for the samll cap 8366 swap. Thanks again Larry!

I did not realize the stock TB was 42MM

Here is some interesting reading for an HSR

No problem Chris ,

I would get a stocker from the Junk Yard for less than $225 I paid,

here is the info for the Distributor I bought, plus you need a remote mount coil with two wires to go to the distributor, dont be discouraged, its not a big deal at all

The stock throttle body is 48mm, and that should be fine on a near stock engine.

Well the last time you asked for help it looked like I responded...

Truth be told, I didn't know you were in that thread, I just remember posting up the stuff. Funny though.

Larry,
Your set up looks beautiful! I notice only three bolts on the throttle body. How's that working out? No leaks? Do you have any 1/4 mile times yet? I'm still tuning but I'm gearing up for a visit to the track. I just installed a 58mm thottle body so I have to make some changes again.
As mentioned above the stock t.b. is 48 mm not 42.

Anyway glad to see another Vette with a Stealth Ram!

John

Thank you very much,,,,JOHN89,,,,,there are indeed 4 bolts in the TB,

I did go to the track but my new clutch slips as bad as the one before. I may try to dyno the car, I don't know if the slippage would mess up the results or not. I will install a street twin or a RAM push type conversion by Spring, for sure
