Brake Switch Wires
I need to wire a Hella 3rd brake light into the brake
pedal switch to get licensed in New Zealand (1984 C4). I got
the repro workshop manual, but the wiring diagrams
at the end are missing. Can someone please tell me
what the different colored wires from the brake light
switch do (some are for Cruise Control)? Thanks.

Wow, thanks for the great help. Now I know what the
costly repro manual should have included. This really
is helpful and I'm very appreciative.
Enjoyed the great photos of your car.

On my 94 there is a ground screw in the footwell just in front of the door.

Success! A '84 C4 owner in Sweden sent the '84
wiring diagram and clued me into an '84 wiring website: misterbill.homeip.net/vette/wiring/
and I was able to suss things out enough to get the
high brake light functioning.
