Are you sure of that? You said the plugs on the left side were gas fouled, as though they weren't firing. It sounds more like the injectors are firing and the spark plugs are not. 120# of cylinder compression is awfully low. Are all 4 about the same? How about the right bank?

I wonder the same.

You can use a timing light and connect to each plug wire. All should make the light blink the same. Those compression numbers do sound low.

i got the 6year old to hold the wires before i got caught.
all the plugs and wires are good.
the injector harness is good.
the fuel filter was oem and it was thru.the gas that came out was black.
i jumped #4 injector harness from the right side to the left.
i got 2 bad injectors. 1&3 are working when jumped 5&7 are inop.
i did the same thing from left to right.
120lb is not really that bad for a car with the amount of miles and age.
the engine acts like it still has a little life left in it.
i will get everything back working, then work on everything else.

Sounds like you need a couple tools, a fuel pressure guage and noid light, sounds like you have an ohm meter. The fuel pressure guage will tell if the injectors are leaking..and the ohm meter will tell you if the injector coils are good, you did say the left bank plugs were wet..right? And the noid light will tell you if the signal is getting to the injectors. Good luck.

Thanks for the help.
i did not have anything to fit the plug thats in the right head.
its not 3/8 square.so i put the temp gauge sensor in the aux fan sender spot.
i put a can of seafoam in the gas tank and drove the car like i stole it.
the engine is fine and has enough power to leave 2 nice black marks about 20 feet.
the fan relay is bad so, i will get one sometime later in the week.
because i have 1 bad injector (#7 lives again) i'm going to replace them all.
now i'm down to fixing the right headlight, inst cluster, abs, fan relay, oil temp and redo the interior.
i work on heavy equipment and i work at night.
i will post some better pics of my 2500.00 car sometime this week.
i cant justify buying special tools that i wont use everyday.
a fuel pressure guage i can leave on the car i can see, noid lights i can find away around them.
a good manual is the best tool of all(it will be here sometime this week).
i use a ohm meter.test lights are garbage, a test light will burn on less than 12volts so they make trouble shooting difficult when your looking for 12volts.

i open the garage door today and let the car run till i got home .
10hr later the exhaust temps at ports are almost the same.
oil temp is around 203*
oil pressure is around 18psi.
this engine has a 156,000 + on it.

i will pull a comp check later today and look at the plugs now that all cylinders are up.

the stock air box is busted. i need 8 injectors(the oem leak down)
well, since the box is busted and i need injectors.
what cai?
what brand of injector?

anything i have to replace will be with aftermarket parts.

Check out Five-O Motorsports for injectors. I'm using their 22 lb bosch pink tops with no complaints.
Post an ad in "parts for sale/wanted" for the air box and injectors.
