Replace the CTS or check the connection and wiring. The FSM should tell you how.

I think that sensor is only $15.

Default Replace CTS and it'll run great!

If it started right up with a 3300 ohm resistor then the harness to the ECM is good. It stalled because the ECM thinks coolant temp is 70*F when the vette's normal operating range is around 200*F, therefore it is still running too rich. Time to replace coolant temp sender. All the best!

After all the trouble i've been having I go up to Auto Zone some young girl waites on me and looks up the sensor on the computer and brings it out and says this is it. I take a look at it and tell her the threads look too small and she says this is what it calls for. I pay 21 or 22 somewhere around that get it home remove the old one and find out the threads are the wrong size agggggggggggh by now it's 7:57 and Auto Zone closes in 3 min. Too late to return it so I'll return it tomorrow and kill her at the same time TILL TOMORROW GANG STAY TUNED Pipe

As I explained when I told you about the resistors, as the car warms up, you have to replace it with a lower ohm one to keep it running. If you go to NAPA, they seem to have a better parts stock.(at least where I live)

Ok Guy's I replaced the coolant temp. sensor and the car fired right up I waited till it warmed up totally and tried jumping on the throttle and it responded well. I still have a small problem. I took the car for a ride out the bypass and when I jumped on it at 25 mph. it stumbles and misses. I just put new plugs in it while I was trying to fix it. Could they have gone bad again? I can't believe that a small sensor caused me this much grief! Maybe bad plug wires? They are 8mm Taylor wires maybe 2yrs. old? THANK YOU GUY'S VERY MUCH YOU WERE A BIG HELP IN FIXING THIS PROBLEM. I wish you were all closer so I could buy you all a few cold ones Pipe

Default Hooray!

Great. Now since you installed #24 injectors it wouldn't hurt to install an AFPR. Like that you can fine tune the fuel delivery ( thru adjusting the fuel pressure) and get rid of any stumble.

You will have to run some scan and view the BLM's to really get the fuel pressure right or take the car to a tuner.

Also if the plugs are really dirty clean them or replace and spray carb cleaner thru the throttle body while reving the vette ( to get rid of all that carbon build up when running rich). Then you should be set!
