Honestly, I don't like them. Not my taste. Just does not look right to me.

I'm with you - leave the C4 lights alone. That's one of the highlights of this car.

Those dont look good on the vettes, ruins the smoothness of the front end. Actually looks good on that TransAm

That being said if you were gonna do a non popup headlight mod, making it yourself would be the way to go. That'd be crazy to blow $1000 on this.

Default Sliding headlight covers?

I'd like to eliminate the headlight motors from my 84 also, but I must agree that it just doesn't look as good to have the clear covers.
So I'm thinking just have the headlight covers slide away to reveal the clear lens and the fixed headlights. This would require much less mechanism and thus weight from the existing design, and also would keep the good aerodynamics with the lights on.

If the lense had more shape to it (like the C6 racer), I think they would look better.
Make one like this ... and I might buy it

Has anybody made, or seen head lights in the front bumper of a C4? Where the fog lights are, near the turn signals??

Not the "stalker" front bumpers....

my only concern... if the fixtures are really up to the job of being headlights... but they can be easily upgraded, regardless of what happens.

c4west or c5west or some such has the c5r style for c4's. They look good, but feedback is that the lights themselves and initial finish of the kit is less than satisfactory.
