1- Remove everything connected to AIR pump, buy/make delete pulley, no codes
2- buy bung and weld it into collector adapter.

Here is a pic of mine with no AIR pump and non emmision Hedman Elites.

Yes, Super Ram

There are a few vendors of the delete brackets, a search would answer that. I built my own so I can't comment on others.

I bought the bung from my local parts place. Drill hole in collector adapter and weld on bung, no big deal.

They may have used an newer master cylinder.

One thing that you need to think about is the heat that wil be generated by the headers. There is no real problem on the driver's side, but the passenger side header could cause some problems with the starter and any fuel lines that are close to the header tubes.

You may want to consider some felxible heat shielding material to protect the starter wires and the starter from the heat. Also consider some spark plug wire heat shields to protect the plug wires where they pass near the header tubes.

With the passenger side header in place, the stock starter cannot be removed. IF it went bad, you would have to remove the passenger side header to get the starter off.

That is a PITA to do if the original starter goes out, so some people replace the stock starter with a "mini starter". These starters have a smaller size motor and use gear reduction to provide the torque needed to spin the motor. These starters bolt in and can be removed easily.

You may have to lengthen the cables to connect then to these mini starters, but it's not hard to do if you do it before the heder install. The positive battery cable may have to be replaced with a longer one and the three wires to the solenoid may have to be lengthened. This is a "maybe" so you should ckech some of the threads concerning header installs to see what others have done.

You can find heat shielding and the mini starters at Summit Racing. Here's some part numbers to look at:
CSR Mini-starter CSI-100 or CSI-100SBP
Tilton mini-starter TIL-54-1001
Summit mini-starter SUM-820323 or SUM-820323-OS

Plug wire heat shields
Summit SUM-350109
Taylor TAY-2560 (black, but there are other colors)
DEI DEI-010512 (black 6" but there are other colors and sizes)

Heat shielding sheets
DEI 7"x24" DEI-010402
Thermo-Tech 7" x22" THE-14150
Summit 7"x24" SUM-350108

Wire harness shielding
DEI 1"x36" DEI-010405

These numbers are from the current Summit catalog I just received but you can check them out on the Summit website by entering the part numbers.

Not really. It depends on how you believe the various components will hold up. I know people that do not use any heat shielding at all and never have any problems. It's all in how you route existing wires away from the header tubes.

Ceramic or thermal coated headers go a long way to keep heat from engine components. The Hedman Hedders you are looking at are used by a number of Forum members.

As far as the AIR pump delete, there is a Forum member who has an AIR delete bracket for a reasonable price. He lives in Canada.

Here's an interesting pic of the A/C compressor deleted and GM part #'s needed.
