I agree but that's true for a lot of modifications.

You're coming around from your original statement was it would "run like crap". That was simply misleading. See HooblyBoobly...

How many turbos have you owned? Most turbos from the factory perform like the tpi, especially german cars. Some of the wrx's were really peaky, but most were very strong down low. huge low end grunt and burn out up top. Only huge turbos have miniram like curves in general.

I had a mildly modded 2002 audi a4 quattro 1.8t with both the k04 turbo and the k03. The k03 ran out of at about 5000 rpm when chipped with large injectors (15ish pounds of boost). most of the power was around 2000-3000 (Awesome seat of your pants in 1st and 2nd with awd). sounds tpi ish doesnt it. the larger k04 held boost to redline, but didn't come on as soon. and of course, higher hp. see the connection? I could go on and on for days with tons of examples but I will stock the hijack

Im not saying you're off on what you're saying all that much, but I think you should be careful what you say... seems like some people follow you like lord.
again I agree with 99% of what you are saying

that drops to a 12.4 with a comp 503 cam, MPG is really good all things considered. 240-260 miles per 13 gallons, lowest was 220 and there was a good deal of sporty driving on that tank.
