When I accelerate from a stop and I am turning onto another road, the car will hesitate bad and sometimes does it a 2nd time though that one is always just a slight hesitation. It does it whether the ASR is on or off. I have heard this is a problem in vettes.
Can it be corrected or is it something I am going to have to live with?
Think it might be a partially clogged filter.
Also, it happens only when I accelerate moderatly or more. Slow start it doesnt do it at all. Just started happenning and all 3 times I had less then a 1/4 of tank in gas.
Uh and what do you think it is? Geeze the gages are not accurate when you suck air out of the gas tank do ya think the engine will sputter? Try keeping your tank full and get the lead out of your foot.
Nice post there bright guy, like I said in my post. IT JUST STARTED HAPPENING, not like I havent been below a 1/4 of a tank before. If you cant say anything intelligent, then keep your comments to yourself.
When low on fuel and accelerating thru a turn the fuel pump will suck air in to the fuel line. This will cause a hesitation. But with a 1/4 tank of fuel this should not be a problem.

I had the same happened this past sunday. It's the first time it happened since the new Racetronix pump I installed 2 yeas ago.
Before the racetronix pump it was simple: Less than 1/4 gas and the hesitation happens.
With the new pump I used to be free of the problem even with less than 1/4.
When Sunday I had the problem I was with something less than 1/4 gas tank.
I was afraid about the problem, then (without faith.. to solve the problem ..-I was trying a chip parameter change.. and I was thinking about my bad on the chip change..-), I refilled the tank.
Problem solved.

Might just want to check out the TPS for smoothness of resistance over its entire range. If there is a dead spot or non-linear area, it could throw off you’re A/F mixture.
If using a Tech 1 or scanner program, you could also see the output voltage change real time with engine off.

Thanks pcolt94 and conv90, wish I had a tech1. I just put in a new pump last spring, going to try a new filter 1st, then I will look at the TPS.
I had a similar problem but it did not involve cornering or turning....mine turned out to be a bad FPR diaphram.....not enough fuel was being delivered at 3/4 to full WOT so the car acted like it was out of gas momentarily at these throttle position...because it was starving for fuel.
