Driver's Side Window Is Loose

Anybody come across the same problem. window rolls up and down fine, but rattles and can be pulled up/pushed down in the rear of the window couple inches of total travel probably...

Any guesses on whats broken?

While it's apart any suggestions on replacing anything else? I figured I'd replace the bumper pads and window guide.

Sounds like the guide stop is broken. Common problem.

Or the studs/nuts from glass to rail, are loose.

Got a part #? I replaced the front stop I did not know there was a rear one.

I am getting an intermittant pop from the rear of the window when it is going down in the rear. It sounds metallic.

Take the door panel off. There is two tension brackets that keep tension on the window to keep it tight.

If not while in there you will figure it out.

That sounds like the rear guide needs to be adjusted.

remove the door skin & the aluminum plate...There is hardware in the very bottom of the door that hold the bottom of the bracket -- thighten the haredware down and then go for a spin over some small bumps and check for rattles.
