Default What do you hate most about your C-4.

Man let me get on my soap box for a second. By and large that f n rubber coating on the console is the dumbest idea GM has ever had. I replaced my console a few years back because when I bought my 95 it was all cracked up. Ever since I put it on little scraches and fuzz and hair and dust all love to stick to it.And I am real **** about keeping the interior looking sharp. And there isnt a great shine product to put on it. So today as I am trying to clean it the f n door hinge broke on the underside. So I took the console out and there is know way to fix it. And I am not goiog to spend 100 bucks on a whole new console. If someone sold this without the rubber crap Id buy it up in a heartbeat. Thanks for letting me vent.

If you still have your old console, you should be able to swap the broken part.

I did remove the plastic in the fender well. Mine was over the a arms. It helped me out alot. But I had to use 2 extensions on the rachet plus the knuckle just take your time.

Wow, I don't think that's necessary! I had an '87 and changed plugs several times. I never had to remove wheels or wheelwell liners or anything like that! I don't remember any specifics about that particular plug, but all I had was fairly normal hand tools.

Show/send me a pic of the exact piece you need. I may have it, and will send just for the shipping charges.

Dude all it is is the place with the two cup holders and the door I knoe that this piece will come off by itself I saw that it would when I had mine off. I have reinstalled it now. The cups and door is held on by some rubber nail looking things.

people who want silly money for old parts. $500 for an abs pump and such. my other gripe is how illiquid the market is. unless it's in above average condition and selling back to book it's hard to find a buyer. not that the c4 is the only one with that problem. the c6 is comming down fast as well. if i buy something better it's going to be a lotus elise. i don't see those cars suffering the damage that modern corvettes seem to be.

The fact that we get totally screwed on the cost of parts here in Canada. New GM flywheel about $400 from any GM dealer in the US goes for $850 here from GM Canada!
