I know what you mean about the gold, it is what it is.....

I'll let him know. The manufacturer did mention a problem with the dipstick hitting the rotating assembly, so that's why he reccomended taking one of theirs. IDK, for the money I'm spending at this piont, a dipstick isn't going to break me. Without seeing it, it's hard to say.
