Cool pics .. you are very talented to be able to break the car down like that. I wish I had that skill. It took me several hours just to change the fuel filter on my '96 LT4 (cat was in the way) and it took me over an hour to change the O ring on the crank position sensor (did from underneath by removing the right cross member). But what you have done is amazing.

you think you'd notice the ride went to sh*t!
I have no idea how it happened, the previous owner drove it like that.

I took it easy this weekend, Im not used to freezing temperatures.
(I live in So Cal)
Undercoating, looks better than silver anyway.
This hose was rotten, this would make the smog test fail.

My 96 CE/LT4 had a split/delaminated front spring and it didn't show up at all in the ride.
Like PLRX I replaced both front & rear springs, installed QA1 shocks & Baniski trailing & camber arms (and a rear toe rod).
Made all the difference in the world.

The weather is great here in Southern California so I'm taking advantage of it.
I rinsed inside the block, lots of dirt, small pieces of gasket and rust came out.
Tapped the threads
Cleaned the block's top and head surface with carb cleaner, head gasket up, thread sealant and heads are on place.
Intake should be done tomorrow
