Getting ready to start thinking in earnest about the cam for my 383 build. Before I start talking to manufacturers, I want to simulate various grinds. Can someone recommend a decent software package to buy that's reasonable in price?
Just trying to understand the approximate affect of various cam changes vs simulating with perfection...ie not interested in spending $500+ for this software.
It's not the "Pro" version (which cost nearly $500 and has a lot of extra little engineering tools) but its still better than probally 99% of everything else out there.
It's a great entry level software package that has a huge libray of pre built engines (that you can further modify and save as new files), pre determined cyl head flow rates, camshafts, intake manifolds, Fi TB's, Carb's, ect.... and yes the LTX Chevy is one of the pre built engines and pre determined intake manifolds.
For only $109.00 its going to be money well spent if your looking to simulate HP/TQ band differences between camshafts.
