Rick, bummer, I believe the short ones will fit and I don't recall you having any crazy valve train components right. Bummer, but they are sweet covers, you have to at least get the short versions.
No just 1.6 roller rockers by comp cams. I would get the short chevy versions but they are damn pricey new.....
Just finally had my Dart VC's notched, it was just way too close and pressed hard against the wiper motor cover. It didn't take too long at all. Thanks for the pics.
Rick, it is running ok, just devoured a Lotus a couple of days ago...I can only imagine what your motor is going to run like. Beastly...
I would really appreciate some pictures Aaron. [/I]
Here you go.
Interior as it is normally.
Breadbox cover removed.
Pic shows FAST unit, fuel psi converter, (2) MSD window switches (they are stacked. One is for the NOS activate, while the other triggers switches that control the boost), and also the relocated VATS (it is still fully functional). None of the factory wires had to be cut or lengthened. All "modules" are bolted to the factory dash skeleton.
A couple more shots.
I hope this gives you some ideas for mounting your FAST system.
Aaron

Aaron.
Thanks alot for those pics. I will take a good look at them tonight.
I see you took off your breadbox. I kinda like the looks of it, so it is going to have to stay if it's up to me.

It makes no difference whether you leave the factory breadbox, or convert to a flat dash, as the area behind there remains the same.
I like your combo Rick I wish now I would have went bigger cu. in. instead of my 383 but it's got really good parts in it and great heads. Anyway does anyone have that DVD that FAST puts out about their systems? I have a Mini Ram setup and thought about going to the FAST system with the single plane and their billet TB. Rick what oil pan is on your motor? THANKS Pipe
I have the DVD, and to be honest with you, it's not that good. It explains some stuff, but it's all basic stuff that you would have known by using the FAST system for a short period of time. I wouldn't recommend getting the video personally. The FAST on the other hand has treated me well on my 396.
Good good, glad to see you're moving along. I've never done a stand alone EFI harness, but with regular harnesses I always thought it was easier to wire them up before the motor goes in, no? (I'd like to know as some day I may very well be going to FAST/DFI/XFI etc)
You get get harnesses now that basically make the install more or less plug and play and piggyback to the stock ECM for dash functions.

Well not much of an update except the car is in the garage waiting for me to get everything done. One big hiccup was that Summit sent the wrong waterpump so I shipped back the old one, and I am waiting for the correct waterpump for the C4.
One of the biggest reasons why this is taking forever is the 3 wheel beast parked beside the C4. The owner of this is my 10 month baby girl, and she is worth me taking as long as it takes to get the 421 running at it's full potential.
All in all guys, the plan is to have it tuned before the snow fly's. In that time, I should get a NOS sneaky system for the stroller. I would foresure be the fastest daddy on the block!

10 month old? tsk, tsk.
I keep telling my wife that once we have kids, she better be prepared because none of my current priorities will get displaced.

In all reality, my friends say that once the baby comes out it instantly transforms you. I have yet to experience that, but will be shortly...

Love your car, keep us posted!!!
Maybe one day your kid will read this and you'll be last on his list too.
