can you read the discouragement? thanks for taking the time to help me with this!! the headlights come on then pop up then a clicking sound can be heard and the headlight seem to dim (like a relay is clicking some where) then the headlight stops dimming then after a minute or two it makes that noise (like a click of a relay making) and dims again has a pattern to it (not like a short then that is random) I think these type of motors have a relay built into them? or could it be the master headlight relay by the drivers wheel well (has three of them ) the motors seem to raise and lower the headlights ok

I have not tore into one of mine, so I'm guessing when I say,
"It sounds like a limit switch in motor housing is allowing the motor to keep trying to move the bucket, causing a internal circuit breaker to trip. When the breaker cools, the motor tries again. This constant, load-no load, could be causing the dimming headlight."
Here is the electrical schematic for the doors, might help to rule out that end, first.
