Default 85 interior air flow problem

85 manual heater/AC controls, in any mode, heat-vent-defrost- equal amonts of air flow thru all vents , floor, defrost and vents, I pulled out control unit and all vac lines appear to be in place and none are cracked or brittle, is there a check valve anywhere that I am missing like on the newer C4's?

The HVAC vacuum feed is at the right rear of the plenum, next to the vac source for the fuel pressure regulator. There should be a filter in the line.Make sure the hose is connected and the filter is not leaking.

Filter is a disk, maybe 1/8th thick with hose barbs on each side. I am not sure if it is OEM or someone added one to my system.

It's not really a filter its a T-vacuum style check valve you can pick them up any auto parts store top connection is feed line middle cruise control bottom AC. AC line is a small hard plastic one that runs in main loom behind motor, the valve should be drivers side of dizzy to find it follow the rear vac line off passenger side of plenum. there was a photo of one on here about a week ago. Here is the link with photo

The part you link to is for 68-82, floridamale is describing what should be there. Here is the pic from his link, looks just like mine.
