Default 84 fog lights

I'd like to be able to use my fog lights without having to turn on my headlights. How does one go about making this happen?

Pull the **** out one notch and push the foglight button in my 85. Parking lights and fog lights are on.

Thanks for the advice, but that doesn't work on the 84. Long time ago I read of a fix. Hopefully someone will have done this successfully. It's a rewireing fix.

You aren't. It is stick105 who has the oddball or modified car. The power feed to the fog light switch has to to be moved from the headlight circuit to the park light circuit. I have been putting off making the change until I make some other modifications to the lighting wiring. I am always too afraid of overloading a circuit by adding to it.

RACE ON!!!

We're making progress...can someone tell us if adding the fog light switch to the parking lights circuit will cause an overload? anyone done this with success?
